Instructions for Updating an Undergraduate Application
Use the Application Update Form when requesting changes to your original application information, such as term of entry, major, or when submitting changes in contact information. Be sure to submit this form by the application deadline of the term in which you wish to enroll. FIU will hold your application for up to 12 months from your originally requested term of entry. If you do not update your application within that time period you must reapply and pay another $30 application fee. FIU requires a minimum of 12 transferable credits to be considered for transfer admission. Please review our transfer admission requirements at admissions.fiu.edu. Please indicate the major you are interested in pursuing. Note that undeclared or undecided is not an option. Admission to FIU does not guarantee admission to selective or limited access programs of study including, but not limited to, College of Nursing and College of Architecture + the Arts. A complete list of majors can be found at mymajor.fiu.edu. If you are admitted and register for classes. Please withdraw from all courses before requesting a term of entry change. Do not use if you are a RETURNING CONNECT4SUCCESS student who has not Reactivated your FIU application.
