Advocacy & Community Engagement: available for students interested in gaining knowledge, skills, and experience in community outreach and organization, as well as logistics and communication with community partners and volunteers. Research & Assessment: available for students interested in coordinating and executing research projects related to women & gender Professional Shadowing: For students interested in a professional career related to identity work and women and gender centers, higher education or public admin, public health, social work, or related field Event Planning & Programming: available for students interested in event planning, student programming and professional networking. Marketing/Social Media: available for students interested in evaluating the current strategies of our departmental brand & foster innovative actions for a specific category/initiative, designing & executing campaigns (e.g., social media, digital, PR, etc.) Fundraising/grant proposal writing: available for students interested in coordinating and executing a grant proposal or fundraising project that will benefit the department overall or a specific Women’s Center program/event Other: Please describe in detail the project you would like to work on and to explain how it will address, advance, and enhance the goals of the Women's Center at FIU.
