User must also contact BBC- WUC scheduling with event date and time at 305-919-5800.

Note: Reservation confirmation for venue use requests received less than two (2) weeks before the event date may be denied and will require case by case approval provided by shopVenues Administration.

User Responsibilities
Venue Users are responsible for requesting their own event services along with the associated payment of charges received from Event Service Providers (i.e. Custodial, Technology, Security, etc.) used in conjunction with their event. (1) Submit an 'Events Request Form' to Facilities Events for custodial services at myfacilities.fiu.edu/events/EventRequest.aspx. (2) Keep your confirmation sheet. (3) Complete form ensuring all details regarding set up and tear down, custodial service, easels, plants, etc. are included. NOTE: Events require 2 to 3 weeks notice (Large events-4 weeks notice). Facilities Management charges $150 per event ($75 for set-up; $75 for breakdown) (4) Be present at the time Facilities arrives to ensure that the venue is set up accordingly. (5) Confirm with Facilities what time they need to come back to tear down the room(s). (6) Ensure that the venue is returned back to its original set-up state.
