BSU Black Healing Space - March 11th

The healing space is reserved for the first 20 people that sign up. The event is open to FIU students and faculty/staff.

1. You identify as Black/a person of African Ancestry. The Sawubona Healing Circles TM is a modality that will be used to create a safe/culturally grounded space for Black students at FIU. To our non-Black allies that are looking to support us at this moment, we see you. We trust that you can honor our mission of creating courageous healing spaces for Black people as there are in-group conversations we need to have to move through the complexities of persistent cultural trauma. Support at this moment can look like spreading awareness for the Sawubona Healing Circles ™ and directing those that you care about toward us for the type of support we seek to provide. Thank you for your efforts in promoting anti-racism and cultural equity, as well as dismantling systemic oppression.
