There is a very specific process that needs to be completed in order for you to fully receive your Marching band stipend. If you are a dual enrollment student please check with Shelly prior to applying as non-degree seeking student for Fall. DEADLINE to have these steps completed is August 25,2023 • Application Fill out the Non-Degree Seeking Application in its entirety. -Admissions.fiu.edu– How to apply, Guest Applicants • Residency Documentation -Upload the appropriate residency documents while completing your online application. 1.Two Florida documents from your parent/legal guardian, issued at least one year prior to the first day of classes. 2. If you are over 24 you may use your Florida documents. 3. These documents can be submitted via your document upload located on your my.fiu.edu (Select: Admissions, Initial residency) • Application fee -$30non-refundable application fee. Students paying in person via check need to visit Student Financials (SASC building first floor) to make the payment. • Immunization Records -Submit to the Student Health Services. Not doing so will delay registration. For more details about the immunization requirements, please visit Student Health Services. Be sure to resolve those prior to the first day of school. -Go to:My.fiu.edu • Registration -MUN 1100L, MUN 4103L, or MUN 5105L MUM 3942 U02 (You should only register for one course). -You must be registered for the course prior to the first day of school to avoid a late $100 fee or any other issues. • Payment -You must pay for the class by the payment deadline. Failure to do so will result with you getting a $100 late payment fee. You may also be subject to cancellation for non -payment or discontinued from the university. If you have any difficulties completing these steps please visit OneStop (SASC building first floor) or call 305- 348-7000. Failure to submit these documents prior to the first day of school may result in you not receiving your stipend.
